Hi Everyone,

Here is the list of the new workshops for September/October 2008. Lots of variety to get your creative juices going. Preview days are Sat 23rd and Sun 24th of August 12-3pm. Come along and get an idea of what you could be making soon.

I am in the middle of restructuring the business and want to spend more time teaching than traveling. Unfortunately this means that I am having to cut out a lot of the craft shows that currently attend. Big apologies, but I can't be everywhere at the same time. I hope you will continue to support us and maybe now is the time to make that long intended trip to our studios. You will always be welcome (Please note the studio is not open all the time; please ring before traveling to avoid disappointment).

CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS

Our children’s classes are run ½ termly therefore the price of each term varies, and is payable at the first session each term.

The classes offer extensive, in depth tuition in arts and crafts. These skills build from week to week and year to year. Our aim is not to just be quick and stick pretty, but to provide skills that will grow with them. Because of this our teaching is quite strict, but we do like to enjoy ourselves.

We currently have 3 sessions. One for age 5 – 10 years and one for age 10-12 and one for 12+

Age 5 – 12 Years Tuesday 4.30-6.30
Age 10-12 Years Wednesday 4.30 - 6.30
Age 12 plus Wednesday 6.30 – 8.30.

Terms & Conditions

Tea and coffee will be provided at all workshops. Materials are always provided unless specified.

All workshops require payment of the full amount payable at the time of booking. Classes are not refundable.

I reserve the right to cancel classes but in such circumstances a full refund will be given.

Rusty Pickle Large Pocket Album

This class is adapted from a Karen Burniston design for Rusty Pickle. We will be making lots of pockets, flaps, lifts and an unexpected twist. Photos would be useful, but not necessary.

Wooden Sleigh

A stunning centrepiece for the Christmas table. A large wooden sleigh beautifully trimmed in bright Christmas papers. We will be filling it with small and large boxes ready for you to fill with gifts and treats.

Hand Painted Teddy Bears

Come and learn how to simply paint beautifully cute little teddy bears. Much easier than you think. You won’t be able to stop decorating every surface with them!.

Great Northern Papercraft Show

Wooden Christmas House

This is a stunning centerpiece for your Xmas table. A Paper Mache house decorated in the gorgeous Christmas papers. The roof lifts off to reveal a secret place for table presents.

 7gypsies Notting Hill papers are truly gorgeous. Here we have used them to decorate a large wooden trug complete with 6 wooden boxes. Perfect fro all your storage needs. The pockets are filled with tags decorated with your treasured photos, so you can always keep your loved ones near. Photos optional.

This is a variation of the very popular class I taught at scrap-a-ganza Holland and UK. The cover compromises 9 tiles decorated with different techniques. Crackle paint, Ultra thick, Embossing, Pearls and Paint effects to name a few.
